About Duplicate That
Cooking and food is a big passion for me, I enjoy traveling and exploring the world of food and everything that goes along with it. The "Duplicate That" phrase actually came from a friend.
One night I was in a restaurant with some friends having drinks and when our food came. When waiter put the food down in front of my friend, his eyes lit up, he quickly dug his fork in tasted and then looked at me and said wow duplicate that!
That is when the light went on in my head. Rachel Ray has her 30 minute meals, Sandra Lee has her meals on a budget, Bobby Flay is all about grilling and the southwest, why not make Duplicate That all about me?
My ideal job would be traveling the country and the world trying new food, whether it is in a restaurant or at grandma's house. Then I would recreate the dish with my own spin, telling people how to do it and what the back story is. I want to use this web site as a launch pad. Using Duplicate that as my way of getting my message out there and becoming known.
